Thanks for the welcome. I'm the new guy and it looks like you have some interesting threads I'll want to read.

Seems many of you are military or exmilitary. I did 20 years in the Navy back in the days when only men were allowed on ships.

I spend my free time teaching marksmanship in the Appleseed Program. Our goal is to teach everyone with a rifle how to shoot up to Rifleman standards which we consider as Expert on the Army qualification course. You would be amazed at how many people actually own rifles but don't know how to shoot them, or to be more precise, how to hit what they are shooting at. Our other goal is to wake up the patriot in each American. Ignite the love of liberty in the heart of every man, woman and child in the country. If the citizens of this country believed in and loved freedom and liberty the country wouldn't be headed in the direction it's going. We do this by telling the story of and honoring the Founding Fathers of this nation.

Thought of taking a course too but I don't know the difference between a rifle and revolver or what is that thing called again where the bullets go in the grip? Besides I couldn't hit the wide side of a barn. :grin:

Ok, when are we all gonna get together and teach each other the the things the others don't know? Let's get something going for the folks that "want to but aren't sure how" such as a "Sighting In" forum (rifles, handguns, bows, slingshots, etc.). You guys know what I mean.
