I find it very annoying that I have to constantly listen to automated answering systems that not only give you the instructions in English but Spanish as well.

I think this is how all of them should be answered.

GOOD MORNING, WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Press '1' for ENGLISH.

Press '2' to disconnect until you learn to speak ENGLISH!!!

Any governmental information in the Netherlands is printed in:

Turkish
Moroccan
Arab
Some undefinable African 'language' (as far as you can speak of a 'language')
Spanish
French
English
Chinese
Japanese

In that order (speaking of political correctness... )

Oh, and Dutch (if you're lucky....)

THAT's what I call annoying....

It is bad enough, I had to translate for an Salvadoran citizen who lived here for over 5 years and didn’t spoke a word of English. The man was illiterate what probably made learning English harder then in a normal case, but still he was able to live here and not needed to learn one word.
